There is a lot of terminology in the video that you are most likely unfamiliar with. The most important takeaway is that nodes play a crucial role in verifying transaction data that is shared on the network. They all maintain their own copy of the bitcoin ledger (also referred to as the blockchain) and they all play by the same rules using the Bitcoin core software.
